Ok boys and girls - we have the magnificent platform of the Millenium Stadium on 30.05.04 to get one final messgae to the footballing community, government etc etc about the fact that Falmer has to happen.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO TO GET THE MESSAGE ACROSS ?

I think 30 thousand people in stripes and a giant flag will do a pretty good job in itself.

Bwian and his 2 banners are preparing for Cardiff.

If I can't get a front row seat I'll be asking others to get the banners in a prime location.

Suspect Superphil and Co. will be doing likewise.

We could always ask DK to take charge of them in the VIP section:D

How hard do you think it would it be to organise coloured card for people to hold up and spell out Falmer in the week ahead? ???

We'd need the Millenium Stadium to assist with that. Probably not too difficult for NSC-when have we failed to meet a challenge?

You need to get to Withdean to pick up the flag and it takes 4 strong people to carry it out of the shed (which is at the far end of the ground - key at the reception desk of the Sports club)

No the new kit won't be ready for the final

We are looking into hiring a people carrier or minibus. (our usual crowd all together)

Will you get the car close enough to the stadium to drop it off ?
I don't think it is going to be very easy.

Would need to work out how big you want the lettering and how many cards per letter etc. Then just find a way of getting the card to the right seats :)

Would look f***ing superb if it could be done

I guess someone would need to go in early doors and position the cards on the empty seats.

the cards on seats idea is great if it can be done. As we have the north stand end it would look great in the N blocks behind the goal as it is two tier there so more room to achive the effect!

Someone mentioned it on another thread but get lots of england flags and put where your from on them around the ground, If we could get the entire length of the brighton end covered with different places that would look quality!

The stadium often displays text messages from fans on its big screens before major games. I'm not sure how this works exactly, but basically you text the number they give you (maybe in the programme?) and a selection of messages appear on the screens in the build-up to the game and at half time.

I really don't know how this system works to be honest, but it was in place for our play-off final last year and I've seen text messages appear on the screens at a couple of Welsh internationals too.

Perhaps someone could ring the stadium and find out if they are doing something similar this year. I know it's not a big thing, but every little helps.
