Only an imbecile ever bets on football (i.e. most of the dullards on here) because of its unpredictable nature. We neither wanted nor 'accept' a draw but that was what happened. Ambition doesn't come into it. Ridiculous post.

I may be an imbecilic dullard but I'm about £230 up this season, and £26 up today

Newmarket.
The team in second is supposed to beat the team second from bottom, so two points dropped.
To be satisfied with a draw today shows an acceptance of second best.

Absolutely.
Last season I recall us drawing or losing to a few lower placed crappy teams and the many posts of " it's a point away from home, you can't expect to win them all, they parked the bus etc etc" and then missing out on the prize by a single solitary point.

The most curious thing..
You can't win every match
I don't expect to, but I do expect a better result (and performance given the reports) against second from bottom to insure against potential poor results against closer challengers and better teams. Similar results last year against bottom 5 sides proved very costly.

Are people really moaning?? Get a ****ing grip! A point on the road is a good point.
Not this one. Against the likes of Newcastle - yes. Not Cardiff.

Would I have preferred a win? Yes. But this weekend has gone mostly in our favour otherwise, some big losses here for our biggest threats, and we continue maintaining pressure on a slightly more fragile Newcastle, a decent weekend all round imho.

So you're not bothered about potential promotion then? Mid table anonymity satisfies?

There have been some fairly silly niggly posts on this thread today, so maybe it's catching. But exactly where did ANYBODY say anything to suggest they weren't bothered about promotion. A quote or a post number required..............

We have gained a point over a load of teams in the past 24 hours who should also have not dropped points against lower placed teams.
