What?
You have just invited the Gods of Football to piss all over our parade. What?
You don't have a parade for reaching the quarter-final of the League Cup.You have just invited the Gods of Football to piss all over our parade.
Runner up is the new winner..Absolutely winning against Charlton so its a pretty valid question...
Quarter-final is when it starts to get a bit exciting. A decent draw and all of a sudden the dream of getting shat on by City in a final looks pretty real.
They played two legged semi finals last season, it was only the 20-21 season where the semi finals were just single games.I did just look at some dates and noticed the semis are 2 legs - think they always were but maybe that was scrapped due to covid for a season or 2… you never know…
Always presuming we do win at the Valey of course, it may have been a favourable draw, but if we relax too much we could come unstuck.Absolutely winning against Charlton so its a pretty valid question...

Yep, l fear the main man may have scored a massive own goal by starting this thread. We're lose against Charlton.
They just narrowly beat Brighton U21 in the EFL Cup a few months ago. I expect Brighton to play with pretty much the first team to get match fit after the WC break, if the boys don't win it, I expect BOOSAlways presuming we do win at the Valey of course, it may have been a favourable draw, but if we relax too much we could come unstuck.
The big boys left in the competition will probably rest their better players, l doubt very much that Charlton will.
Just saying like.
Just 3 of our players started at both Wolves and Arsenal. We won both.Always presuming we do win at the Valey of course, it may have been a favourable draw, but if we relax too much we could come unstuck.

Well obviously on paper we should win, but nothing is a given, thatgs what makes cup competitions so exciting. They just narrowly beat Brighton U21 in the EFL Cup a few months ago.
