Just imagine if we'd been able to create something called "an App" and that had the ability to load the ticket straight onto your iPhone, it'd save all these problems, but hey, we haven't invented the smartphone yet so one thing at a time
Sake, really? I'm sure we must be nearing clarity... somewhere....Yes, they said don't call until match day
Well that sounds like not a lot of fun for everyone involved.Been to the sorting office this morning. Collected one Christmas card and no tickets. Tried calling supporter services and there is a message about Charlton and Saints tickets. It said (please don't shoot the messenger):
All tickets have been posted.
Many will not arrive due to industrial action.
Duplicates can be arranged for Charlton by contacting Supporter Services. You CANNOT arrange duplicates before the day of the game. You can arrange them tomorrow by either phone or webchat.
Pleased to say my ticket has just turned up in Shoreham!! Thankfully that's where I liveUnfortunately I don't share your confidence of two deliveries to go. Still waiting for mine having ordered on Day 1, but today no postman seen in the road, so no delivery for anyone not just no post for me. This may well happen again tomorrow, or I could get about ten items through the letterbox.
If only away tickets were etickets none of this having to ring the ticket office then queue for who knows how long at Charlton would not be an issue.

Not the only one, and also have a fear that when getting to the front of the queue at Charlton, I will be greeted with, no you're not on the list.I have a bad feeling about this.

Yes, me too. I'm sure @Titanic is in first tier as am I for this game. Not sure how you can order tickets on the first day of sale and not have them for game time. I've written tomorrow off now. Will take dog for a walk via the sorting office as soon as it opens and get back in time to spend the whole day in a phone queue, leaving only to get up to London early enough to queue with thousands of others for tickets.I have a bad feeling about this.
This may help you if you can get to your local sorting office

Go to your local sorting office before it closes - must be yours - and show ID and ask for your letters. Not sure of other opening hours but mine closes at 10am for this service or parcel collection so you'll need to set an alarm! How does this work? Literally just go to the delivery office and ask for your post?
As long as you have adequate ID, yes.How does this work? Literally just go to the delivery office and ask for your post?
