Some toerag nicked the aerial of our car a couple of nights ago... (very thoughtfully they unscrewed the whole thing rather than snapping it off...)

Being the sort of bloke who gets the oil and water filled up at the MOT can someone advise the best way for me to replace the aerial...?

Do I need to take it into a garage or can one buy and fit an aerial fairly easily? (the car is an Astra - year 05) Best place to buy?

Buy and fit easily - some one did the same to my car and it cost about £3 for like for like replacement from peugeot dealership
thanks for that... "£24" cost referred to by e-bayer is a bit misleading then...?

Way out west
The same thing has happened to me a couple of times, bought my replacements off e-bay, very cheap and only took a day or two to arrive.

thanks... I think I'll try e-bay (thought it was going to cost more than a few quid when first realised it was missing...)

what that is saying is you would pay £24 if you bought the exact same item from a Vauxhall dealership.

You get it for £3 + p&p if you are prepared to buy it from ebay and wait a few days for delivery

thanks... just this minute paid £2.99 + £2.99 p&p, so am happy with that...

do you think the people who nick them sell them on e-bay? or is it just a prank and they throw them away?

I should've gone out last night and found one to take myself... if everyone did that then no-one would have to buy a new one and we'd only be missing one for as long as it took to nick someone else's...:lolol:
