Captain for this season?

I don't recall seeing a thread on this yet so I thought i'd ask the question; who do you see as captain this season?

While Forster may remain club captain I can't see him starting so many games this season so we will need someone else to fill the position on the pitch....with so many new faces coming in do you think it will be one of them or one of last seasons players?

I might go for Whingy although not sure he is chatty enough on the pitch. Tommy doesn't need the distraction at his age. Would the captaincy help convince Murray to stick it out?

Not even sure I have Virgo in my starting 11....need to see Tunnicliffe play but we need better than the Virgo of last season.

I don't think it should be a centre back. We are very strong in that position so I think having a captain that may well lose their place isn't a great idea.

I'd give it to Forster still but if he isn't playing maybe Dicker or Crofts...

Not got a clue, don't think Forster will play enough games to justify the role. Will Virgo be first choice?

I wouldn't have Forster as I think he should concerntrate on getting goals. Not sure Virgo would be in my starting line up and dives in recklessly far too often to be a captain. Of all the players in the squad, you know he is going to get sent off the most. Don't think Whing will be in the starting 11 once the newbies have settled in so after all that, I haven't a clue.

Hopefully Forster, he is probably the best player in our squad, clearly cares about the club and has done a good job as captain so far, no need to change it
