The usual suspects have got this thread ‘cancelled’ by getting angry and abusive, rather than taking part in open and constructive debate. They have achieved their objective by getting it moved into the Pit.

This forum used to be very educational , fun, diverse and informative. Now becoming just ‘another football message board’.

To be fair, there are thousands of threads, dozens of which are active at any one time, many of which are about football, pastimes, food, pubs, telly, music, photography, history, geography, and other good natured topics with very friendly posts. I suppose it all depends what one goes looking for.

But I do agree, it's frustrating when a thread is interesting and the usual four or five come on and trash it.

I would suggest it had nothing to do with the share holders but more along the lines of pressure from the Woke Squad within the company I could be wrong .

No idea who the woman interviewer was - but what a div. Claiming she can't pronounce "Smith" either. If she "can't get her words out in the morning" wtf is she doing on a morning tv programme? Hope she got sacked for her disrespectful attitude.

Def not team shola , she was incredibly rude and self righteous to Kate G when she didn’t offer to pronounce her surname when politely asked & told her she would not let her get away with that but to pronounce it phonetically. Lots of people would have issues with the correct pronunciation of her surname . Full of herself , horrible self righteous woman .

Then she should have practised it first if she knew there was a guest coming up who had a difficult to pronounce name. Lazy journalism and the presenter's attitude was "I can't be arsed, you do it". And then claiming she couldn't pronounce "Smith" either, whilst of course getting it correct just escalated her ignorance to another level.
