A cheap Siemens one (after spilling beer on the 3330)
Nokia 3510
Nokia 7250
Nokia N95
A couple of Sony ones
iPhone 3G
Some cheap Samsung Android one
Samsung Galaxy S2
LG G2
LG G4
LG G5
LG G6
One Plus 9

I might have missed a couple. Also, I'm an app developer and always have a couple of Android/iOS phones but only use Android as an every day device.

Sony Ericsson P990i.

When I was 13/14 I lost my first couple of mobiles so whilst I begged for a blackberry like all my mates, I instead inherited the P990i from my dad as it was his old work phone before he got an upgrade.

It was MASSIVE. It made Sheffield Wednesday look like Chorley. That’s how massive it was. It also weighed a tonne, some kids had their jeans round their ankles as a sign of rebellion or as a fashion statement. I had mine round my ankles because I had the Worlds Strongest Man finale in my pocket.

I vividly remember getting my phone taken off me at school one day, having to go and collect it from reception at the end of the day and the teacher with it taking the piss out of how big it was.

Apart from being visible from space it did have some other features. The full keyboard could be folded down to reveal a full touch screen. There was a scroll wheel on the side which did… something. Volume sometimes, I think. It had a stylus that worked almost half of the time you used it & a memory card slot meant I could put a 4GB micro SD in there so it came equipped with the essentials for a 14 year old chav from Shoreham.

Gritz - My Life Be Like (ooh, aah)

That video of a kid kicking a wall and it collapsing on to his leg.

However my phone did come with one feature that nobody else’s did. My dad’s old contact list. For whatever reason he hadn’t cleared the phone before giving it to me I inherited the phone book of a semi-important logistics guy in the music industry.

Could I message girls I fancy on BBM? No, no I couldn’t. Did I have the number for Alien Ant Farm? You bet I did. Whilst this was worth Brownie Points for a week or two it was quickly trumped by a lad who had a dad relatively high in the police when he revealed he’d stolen the number for Buckingham Palace off his dads phone. No amount of Michael Jackson covers can compete with the teenage beliefe that your childish prank call might be answered by the queen.

Anyway, I somehow managed to lose it despite it being big enough to be part of Stone Henge. So I suppose my parents did the right thing.
