That's a bit of a daft thing to say. Of course people got some wrong: they're easy if you've got the albums but it's guesswork if you haven't - and most people on NSC won't have

fair enough, it did make make me realise that I don't think I've ever listened to The Libertines, only got that one through process of elimination ...... did meet the drummer once and he seemed quite a nice chap.

100%. One of them I didn't know, but as I knew all the others it was a process of elimination. Didn't even recognise the album cover for that one either.

Was a bit lucky with the Smashing Pumpkins as it's the only song I know. They were a band I was never really into which is a shame as if I were to revisit, I'd probably love them. It was that thing where a person at school/college/work who irritated you really liked them, so you'd dislike the band as a point of principle.
