can dogs eat bananas?

my dog can eat grapes; in fact he eats anything including cowshit given the chance; never tried him with a banana though; look out benj tonight is the night!

The answer is yes. My staffie eats bananas.

I got her a kong toy and one of the recommended foods to stuff the toy with was bananas.
Tried her with it, she loved ate the banana then ate the kong toy. Now she just has the banana.
Cleared it with vet who said that it was ok and basically anything healthy for us is more or less healthy for dogs, bar a few exceptions.

The dog’s breakfast now consists of porridge and banna and she looks good on it.

Citrus fruits generally a no-no, not that they'd probably like them anyway.
Definately not grapes as you say (including dried like sultanas etc).
Most veggies ok, with the exception of broccoli, which can cause upset stomachs, although ours eat it with no obvious problems.

never tried ours with banana, but they do like apples.
