I'll put you down for left wing then Marc. Don't worry about the trucks - you'll see loads on the M3 anyway.

I'll let you know later, once I've had a chance to assess how likely it is that I will be divorced if I agree to play.

Oh - I also need to work out the likelihood of me collapsing.

:lolol:

High on both counts I fear

Speaking of tricky conversations with the wife - I might just have some good news for you....

Marvellous - I'll bring the handcuffs

what?

:lolol:

As I typed that, I knew exactly what to expect - I just thought it would come from someone else, rather than you.

Looks like we are on for Donny - its going to cost me an Ikea armchair though!

Excellent - small price to pay

Don't tell her, but I was going to get it for her anyway, I just hadn't admitted it.

Small price indeed.

It does mean actually going to the Devil's Shop to get it though, which is no small price, I tell thee.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for a Woman to go into Ikea and buy only the things she set out to get.

"But darling, I just couldn't resist the hurdygurdysmorgasbordchipboardlaminated dining room suite. It was a BARGAIN"

Good luck mate

Indeed. We have brown paper Ikea bags in cupboards with unopened 'bargains' purchased on trips two or three years since!

I said she can have the armchair - I never said he could come. Hopefully I can divert into one on a work trip at some point pick it up and scarper sharpish!

Come on people - you know you want a game really.

We have a smart new silver-grey kit, if that helps!

Haven't read the whole thread but I bet Paddy will if you still need people. He is out with the kids but I'll ask him later.

I thought you guys lived in Leeds?!

He would be most welcome. I think I only have 10 at the moment.

Nah. We live not a million miles from Winchester.

Haven't seen him yet but will ask him when I do.

Unfortunately, I'm in Lewes this Sunday morning, although I'm BANG up for it most Sundays. I do play in goal in 2 5/6 a side teams, but as I'm about 5'9", I'll probably be SHITHOUSE in full-sized goal:)

I can't tomorrow mate, but any other time you are short let us know. We're just near Bentworth so no where near Leeds and much nearer Winchester.

Paddy, Daman, Cruncher, thanks very much. 4 of our team are army bandsmen who are almost guaranteed to be working next week (Remembrance Sunday) so the 'next time' might be very soon!

I will no doubt be in touch.

Right then, who wants to play TOMORROW?!
