Calderons Albion Future in Doubt!!!!

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
I feel sick.

Poor guy. He has settled in quicker than any other player I remember. Not wishing to forget that he hadn't had a club for a good part of half a year and was moving to an alien country.

I dearly hope the news from the specialist will be positive and we see him at right back for many years to come.

Offer him a deal for a year with an option for a further year that would trigger after rehabilitation.

I love him and hope you get better soon Caldè.

Wasn't Lua Lua out for the season according to the Arsegas, before playing 10 days later?

I'm clinging to what Calderon told Brett.

Am I missing something? Whats the problem?

He might miss two or three games at the start of next season....

How does that equal: "his future is in doubt" ? Shoddy, sensationalist journalism as ever from the consistent Mr Naylor.

Whilst I'd never wish an injury on him it's certainly come at a good time for us. He's helped us secure league 1 status now and this injury means (hopefully) any clubs thinking of trying to nab him might not bother.

What's the point of this story?

Basically what it seems to boil down to is "we were told a few days ago that he'll be out for three months, this is still the case".

It's not like it's got a quote from Poyet saying "Now that he's injured we have no interest in offering him a new contract"! Another Arsegas non story IMO.

Exactly my thinking

Could actually be a blessing in disguise, although I'd still rather he was fine and fit to play the rest of this season

he is without doubt my most favourite player i have seen in the stripes for years. yes i include zamora in that. yeh forster , murray , bennett, lua lua stc are good . i dont know why but there is something special about inigo. sign him up anyway . would love to see him run out at falmer. think he would epitomise a lot of things about us as a club and where we intend to go .

Non story rehash of the other days news with same quote from Poyet. Quite how his future is in doubt when they don't know how serious the injury is
