I believe that Guy should have been brought on 15 mins from the end in place of Martot and hung in for a 1 - 0 . As it happened Baz got Wilkins out of jail but it wont happen every week.

Guy will be a squad player going forward ..there will be games when he is needed..after all at the best part of 40 he cant be expected to play all the games..he has been great in recent seasons but cant go on for ever

Write Butters off at your peril, still a a very important part of the squad. Lynch seems very very injury prone, has he actually played more than about 4 games without missing games through injuries???

grrr...keep having to log in for every post.

I think that you can forget about his age. I rate Guy very highly. I think you'll be hard pushed to find anyone in League One who reads the game as well as him and have you ever, ever seen him lose a header.

I think his class and experience more than compensates for his age. There were lots and lots of us last year who thought he was player of the season last year.

skintmanblues, why are you including Reidy in that list? He's 28 and has been out for a year but played 90 mins in the reserves last week.
He can still do a job.

In fact Reid and Hart both scored.
