Buses After Home Games

Have we paid the bus company for extra buses to be put on after the match?

I wasnt one of the disgruntled supporters who left early, so got to the bus stop about 10mins after the final whistle. I was then to be greeted with a huge queue and no buses.

The 5a then turned up about 5.10, but couldnt take all the people in the queue, so I ended up getting a taxi back into town with a couple of others.

A Blue 273 or 723 (cant remember the bus number), stopped at the bus stop, the steward asked the driver to take the fans into town, and because it wasnt a Brighton & Hove bus, refused to accept the travel voucher, and didnt even take on people willing to pay to get into town.

Yesterday was a bigger crowd than normal, but it seemed a farce again. I take it all the park and ride buses turned up?

Sounds like a typical home game to me. Wotsisface at The Bus Company needs to STOP maximising his fecking profits - & START giving us a decent service for the money we're all paying him.

I had a feeling there wouldn't be enough buses after the game, so I decided to get the train back into Brighton for a change. Except there weren't any trains til 10-to-FRIGGIN-6!!

I got on that one, it was empty and I was at a loss as to why

it did cost £1.80 but I was having a beer in the Fortune of War by 5.30

Although I wouldn't do it myself (as I walk to the matches) I've got every sympathy with people who park in the Exclusion Zone. The club have been TOLD by us before to sort the buses out - and unsurprisingly given the tinpot administration it hasn't been done. They can't complain if people give up on the buses or the Park and Wait.
