What do you guys think for the cup though? I think we’re as good as safe so would love a cup run but it’s clear players need a rest. Play the Polish lads? Will everyone accept it as one of those things with injuries and fatigue if we make 7 changes and lose 4-0? Will our fans be accepting enough of the situation and just forget it if that happens? It’s such a tough one and the injury list is the problem for me...

I've no real expectation of beating Leicester anyway. I love the Cup normally but with no fans at games I'm definitely prioritising the League players getting a bit of a rest. A free hit for Potter in my mind but, being selfish, I'd like to take a peek at the Polish boys and maybe even Moises.

Don't think he was as effective as Maupay, he was not near enough to them so they could play from the back . That's my opinion also got no where near getting the ball in the box either. .

Sub had to be made, if the benefit is it gives him game time fine then fine but his level of running is not as intense as Maupay.

Maybe my view was not as good as watching on my phone but the substitutions did not change the situation, it only changed later when we seemed to get a bit more control back.

Lallana calmed everything down when he came on, the referee again and again wanted to allow advantage to be played before bringing the game back and the linesmen calling off side so late both these actions which must have been at the direct instructions of the referee at the expense of some quite dangerous play, when conditions are as they were the referee has a duty to ensure games are safe and fair as such he should have taken a much firmer hold and instructed the linesmen to flag earlier

Well we got a point in what was a major physical battle that the ref did not get hold of so I guess they all did fine in reality. I would have taken the point before the game and having seen what went on, even happier we got a point. Shame we didn't get a second goal in the first half but we stay 15th.

The strange thing is he was only injury prone at Arsenal (around the time all the arsenal players were getting injured), he was never injured during his many years at Man United.

edit here is his history sure he was worse at Arsenal but certainly wasnt imune from the odd 30 days out. Edit also knee problems who would have thunk...

Made a pleasant change getting a point playing ugly.

Thought Burnley looked an improved side and not as direct as normal, they are a horrible side to play against and you need to match them with aggression which I thought we did quite well.

Sanchez was my MOM takes so much pressure off the centre halves coming for crosses.

Get the feeling some of our players need a few days rest with games coming thick and fast.

He missed 18 games during his whole United career which spanned about 7 years, maybe longer as he been there since he was 8 years old, (he also missed 3 games at Sunderland on loan).

At Arsenal he missed 123 games in about 6 years and 9 games since he's been with us.

I would not say he was injury prone at United.

Totally happy with that. A point today was always going to be a good result.

Our style works best against footballing teams so I always think we have more of a chance against the mid-table sides (and occasionally the top of the table sides).

Add to that 2 high intensity, high concentration 1-0 wins against spuds and 'pool since last Sunday and I'm just pleased we didn't collapse under the second half onslaught.

Credit to Burnley too. You cant fault Dyche's record and approach. Very few teams roll them over and I don't think its fair to think of them as a Pulis type Stoke or anything. Lets not forget that they beat Liverpool at Anfield as well, so they can defend and nick a goal with the best of them. They battered us for most of the second half because they played well and we ran out of puff.

Still, we had Lallana to bring on and he steadied the ship. I dare say they ran out of energy a little as well.

They should read more carefully, quite a few of us gave them some credit today.
