Just wondering if anyone else was booked on the above train on 14th August? We had reserved seats but the train seem to disappear from the live departure boards on the website! We were able to get the 9:10 so I submitted a delay repay claim but Avanti have stated there was no delay.

are they saying it wasn't delayed because it didn't run....

Are you sure it was 8.37?

According to raildar there was a Preston train that left Euston (on time) at 8.27, and the next one was the 9.10 http://raildar.co.uk/l/a608

Definitely 8:37 as per the emailed ticket from Avanti.

are they saying it wasn't delayed because it didn't run....

If that's the case, then the delay is now up to 25 days 10 hours!
