Its a fair way out of town, but could make a neat modern stadium like Crawleys Broadfield. I always thought that if Falmer had gone tits up the Albion might have turned there attention to a site at Burgess Hill.

I suggested that about 7 years ago on land on or near the Victoria Industrial Estate but was told it is more than 9 miles from Brighton. This is good news for BH Football Club all they need do now is find someone else to be CEO with less of a self ego than Gary Croydon, who was, allegedly, the cause of their recent problems with MSDC.

MSDC leader Gordon Marples has confirmed the council are backing plans to relocate the club.
"This has nothing to do with getting them off the ground so it can be developed (for housing) but is about trying to find a way for them to move forward."

Yeah right, the diggers will be in the moment the club are out.

Won't be too far from Haywards Heath then?

Bit of an odd location to be fair and fairly inaccesible to anyone without a car. It's hardly going to encourage the casual supporter that can just amble along at the last minute.
