In case anyone who likes Bryan Adams hasnt seen it yet - he is playing an Acoustic set at the Brighton Dome on Thursday 2nd July.

If you book tickets do it via the Dome as £1.50 booking fee, Ticketmaster are charging £7.50 per ticket booking fee.

Is he on an economy drive by any chance?

Saw him with the full ensemble about ten years ago at The Centre

Then again about five years ago, without a DRUMMER of all things!

And now he's solo (?) acoustic...

He did the MTV Unplugged thang that came across quite well as I recall :guitar:

Very good show, just him and a guitar with a pianist as accompaniment on some songs.

He played all of his classics and a fair bit more besides (including a cover of Willie Nelson and Ray Charles' "Seven Spanish Angels", which is a song I've always liked), and seemed to enjoy engaging with the crowd.

I think it must take a lot of courage for any musician to be willing to perform in such a stripped back manner as it focuses the attention purely on them as a musician and a singer with none of the distractions you sometimes get at concerts to hide any mistakes which might be made, but he certainly proved himself capable of doing it very well last night.

I met him a few years back when he was recording waking up the neighbours he was a very likeable down to earth guy, glad to hear he is still touring the uk.
