Something very odd going on. Sack the manager and his assistant who used to be a manager. Keep another assistant/coach and a guy who until not long ago was player liaison rather than playing coach/assistant. And give the job to the latter. Why keep Hamberg but only make him assistant?

I think Bruno will be one of the few that has his CV enhanced by the Chelsea experience.

He wasn't one of Potter's original team. He now has a successful stint coaching at Brighton, and despite results, obviously respected enough to take temporary charge at Chelsea. Regardless of when he goes, think his reputation in the game has risen.

Chelsea's global 'fans' had to google Potter to find out who he was. Imagine their reaction when they google Bruno

As soon as Potter decided to jump ship both Bruno and Roberts were in a position where the new BHA manager may well not of wanted them and therefore they would either be demoted or released. They had to make a choice between a fat new contract at Chelsea or possible demotion at BHA. I have no issue with both of them and would have them back. Both of them won't be tarnished by their association with the Brummie fool!

I doubt he'll be given the chance. I imagine he'll be in charge of the team for tomorrow's game against Liverpool and then they'll have their new man in before Wolves on Saturday. They may even have their new man prior to the Liverpool game but I imagine it'd be too soon for him to actually be on the touchline.
That sort of assumes they have someone lined up. I'm not so sure they do. The fans will demand a big name and there are only so many of those available or gettable.

I wonder if we will be seeing a temporary appointment till the end of the season

I doubt they have someone lined up as I think the Todd is an idiot. But I imagine he'll just throw enough money at some "name" and get them in ASAP.

Well publically Chelsea are saying they're going to be doing a very extensive and through search and thus why the old coaches are staying to give time to facilitate that process.

Be a bit weird if they then made appointment by end of week.

Exactly this. Anyone in their position would've done the same and I'd happily welcome them back (as would Sanchez).

No way, what part of how TB runs the club would’ve indicated he’d fire them both? It’s was lips service to leave the club.
