He was clutching his back, having had 2 knees smashed into it.I'm not sure about this referee today but what is shocking is the lack of consistency from ref to ref.
Against Fulham the ref blew to stop play every time a Fulham played laid prone on the pitch , today the ref waived play on when Joao Pedro laid down clutching his head. What is the actual rule concerning this and why is it not applied consistently across the Prem ?
Blimey did we lose ? and I stayed to the final whistle !We lost not because of the ref. Get over it.
This.Needs to be extended to the officials as a whole. The penalty shout was nailed on handball. Another VAR howler. Ref got the red correct though and most other calls.
I loved their 'Premier League, corrupt as fook', chant I know we're a bigger club than we were not so long ago but I didn't realise we'd reached the dizzy heights of being a super club that the PL is supposedly bias towardsThe Blades supporters hated him until the red card, increasing angry at his 'Albion bias'.
He was fine today.
But the NSC tradition after a non-win, days of blaming the ref. Now, where's that Ignore Thread button?
But have you seen any better ?I've seen worse referees than Brookes at the Amex this season.
He actually got a nasty knee in the back, when I saw the highlights, dirty, snidely challenge by the Sheffield player.Thought he was ok. Got most things correct including the red card. Pedro deserves an Oscar for his antics.
