Why do I have to pay more just because I live abroad?

£22 UK resident paying by direct debit.
£30 Non UK resident.

Bear in mind that even though I live abroad I have (like many expats) a UK account that I can set up a direct debit from.

The higher charge relates to the additional cost of mailing packs abroad, as opposed to form of payment. Hope that clarifies things. Cheers.
