Ha Ha ha Mouldy Ha ha ha.....................dont you think he has done enough to have a statue then? Are you still bitter because you think it was DK's fault at the departure of the chosen one Dean Wilkins even though the rumour mill has stated (well The Argus) only Perry was against replacing him with Adams.Should Knight have weilded his unrelenting power and defied the Board of Directors and cast himslf into an impossible situation and possibly resigning to appease The Wilkins Fans..................or shall we remember Dick knight the fan who stepped in and with others guided a club close to administration to return to play in Brighton..then planning for a state of the art stadium and succeeding and now handing over to a fellow lifelong fan who is capable of funding the new stadium and bringing fresh ideas and enthusiasm to our beloved club. Are we lickers just because we appreciate what DK has done since the dark days of Archer/Gillingham/Hereford ect ect ect and how far we have travelled.
I would have liked to have a Statue of Peter Ward at Falmer but then i remember how much Knight has done for the club and wonder if he had not been so passionate about moving the club forward then there would not have been a nice shiny new ground to erect it at and possibly not even a club to support.............no... Dick Knight desreves a lasting memory and that does not make me or anyone else who agrees a licker..........................
