Broken promises from a Silent Chairman

Silent says we couldve got just under 3m for BZ but we have enjoyed him playing for the Albion for 18 months! Well let me remind you where we are what div we now play in lot of good that did Silent! What makes Silent even more hopeless is he says he doesnt regret cashing in on Zamora when he couldve doubled the money coming in!

Once again it goes to show that the timing of Silents action is poor to say the least like the fiasco with the clown Managing the team at the start of the season then taking ages to realise the mistake he'd made. Well this time the sale is done and now it looks like we wont even get a single player new to the club coming out of the money for the sale of Zamora. Zamora had international caps and whilst he may be div 2 thats only just happened, I suggest Silent is very poor in the department of negotiation and its this lack of skill and judgement that is costing the club so dearly. Silent says we've had tremendous value outta him well excuse me but we are now in div 2 coz he was so lazy he didnt try towards end last seaosn he knew he'd be off and no wonder all of a sudden he's banging them in for Spurs!

Silent couldve invested time in getting other premiership clubs interested and joining the race to sign Zamora, so much for any relationship built with Micky Taker Adams at Leicster where was he when he needed to be there? What about letting the russians at Chelski know about Booby a couple of video tapes in the postbag at Stamford Bridge mightve done the trick whatabout getting the England camp recommendations there was so much more Silent could and shouldve done that he has failed and every person connected with the club can feel let down by the sale of Zamora for so little. Its irronical that I say he isnt even worth a million let alone 1.5, the point is we shouldve and couldve got far more we didnt now the playing side once again suffers.

Silent says he can assure fans we aim to be very competitive, how? With a depleted squad and supposed the best player out and noone in, competitive, eh, I ask again how?

Silent talks about SC being happy with the budget he has, what budget how much? Once again the timing is all bad with the season about to begin a poor start and its an uphill struggle thereafter.

So come on Silent tell us what there is to look forward to?

before you ignore the post as more drivel look at it read it and comment subjectively in a reasoned arguement, are you satisfied Silent did enough to Market Zamora when there was other money being passed days later (around other Premiership clubs)? was the time right for his sale? or was Silent in a desperate state of financial ruin at the club that he was forced to sell Zamora at any price?

How will we be competitive?

Every club has a so called hero player obviously to majority Zamora was Albions, who now is there anyone worthy of that accolade?

Saucy Swedish Meatballs

Yield: 4 Servings

Ingredients
1 lb Lean ground beef
1 lg Egg
1 c Fresh bread crumbs, from 2 slices bread
1/4 c Club soda
3 tb Chopped fresh dill OR 1 1/2 tb Dried dill weed
1 1/4 ts Salt
3/4 ts Freshly ground black pepper
3 tb Butter
1 pk (8 oz) medium egg noodles
8 oz Fresh green beans, cut into 1 1/2" pieces, about 2 cups
2 c Sliced fresh mushrooms, about 8 oz.
1/3 c Sour cream
Fresh dill sprigs, optional

Instructions 1. In large bowl, combine egg, bread crumbs, club soda, 2 tbsp. chopped dill, 3/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper; using hands or wooden spoon, blend well. Shape mixture into 1 1/4" balls. In 12" skillet, over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp. butter; add meatballs; cook about 12 minutes, turning frequently until browned on all sides. Meanwhile, prepare noodles according to package directions, add green beans to boiling water along with noodles; do not add salt. When meatballs are browned, remove to plate using slotted spoon. To drippings in skillet, add remaining 1 tbsp. butter; melt over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms; cook about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until crisp-tender. Return meatballs to skillet along with 3/4 cup water and remaining 1 tbsp. chopped dill, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Increase heat to high; bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, covered, 5 minutes until meatballs are cooked through. Stir in sour cream; cook 2 to 3 minutes longer until heated through. To serve: Drain noodles and green beans; arrange on serving platter. Spoon meatball mixture over noodles; toss quickly. Garnish with dill sprigs, if desired. Makes 4 servings.

Mental Lental I appreciate that to you its annoying to read repeated articles as much as it maybe to others to read recipes on a football chat site so im doing my best to stick to new and topical football related subjects covering the Albion (all these Silent quotes are fromthe official site), can you at least make your recipes relevant for Guy Butters as there was hardly enough lard in that for the likes of him. Thank you. Oh and if anyone can answer Silent on how we can remain competitive wit hthe current squad ......

Why of course!

Black Pudding (Irish)

Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients
1 lb Pig's liver
1 1/2 lb Unrendered lard, chopped
120 fl Pig's blood
2 lb Breadcrumbs
4 oz Oatmeal
1 Medium onion, chopped
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Allspice
1 Beef casings

Instructions 1. Servings: 8

(Always served with an Irish "fry". The preparation of this pudding may be impractical these days due to the difficulty of procuring fresh pig's blood and casings.)

2. Stew liver in boiling salted water until tender. Remove liver, and mince. Reserve cooking liquor. Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Stir thoroughly until blended. Fill casings with mixture. Tie off in one-foot loops. Steam for 4-5 hours. Leave until cold. Cut into 1/2 inch slices as required and fry in hot fat on both sides until crisped.
