does anyone know a good cheap place that repairs laptop screens i smashed the inside of the screen :facepalm:,

hope you guys can help!!

I've done this before, nightmare - as Terry T no doubt wants to say (?) check that your model/make/age doesn't make a screen repair redundant, as laptops drop in price really quickly these days. Check on eBay what your laptop is worth.

That'd be the first thing I'd do.

That's true Brightonfan1983. I run an I.T business and there's a chance I may have the part, fitting would take less than an hour but I am not based in Brighton.

I broke mine at Xmas. I bought a new one and fitted it myself. It just involved removing bit of trim and a couple of screws.

The laptop shop outside Brighton station. I smashed my screen and they replaced it with a recon screen. Was £40 iirc. Happened about 2-3 years ago and screen still going strong.

This is the place for PC advice so perhaps someone can help me. My other laptop...a Packard Bell is not a Guinness drinker through the keyboard...now it is on strike and refuses to start,it was flooded but it was 3 months ago so must be dry now.....help please.

'tis buggered. Motherboard, battery, keyboard, ram and wifi card are probably all screwed.
