It was with great sadness that I found out this morning that Brod passed away last night. He'd been out for a quiet drink with a friend in Uckfield but appears to have suffered a heart attack. Brod had followed the Albion through thick and thin since the late 70's as a child, being taken to watch as a young lad with his Father. As a young man he'd bravely battled through Hodgkins disease but this did not dampen his ardour for the Albion. About 10 years ago he was married. He was a season ticket holder in the South stand at Withdean with Claire. Unfortunately his marriage didn't work out and he was separated, but he leaves behind a lovely little girl of 5. He was 39.

Goodbye Brod, rest in peace.
You were a good friend and I will always think of you when watching the stripes.

Very sad news.

A crying shame that this brave man will never see Brighton take to the pitch at Falmer.

Thoughts with his family and friends.

Very sad - and a nice tribute, if one I'm sure you'd rather not have had to do. RIP.
