has anyone else noticed just how shit talk shows have become on british television? having watched for the last time 'friday night with johnathan ross' i have come to the conclusion that not one tv chat show made in britain serves any purpose in terms of actually questioning their guests. i have never really been a fan of jr but he seems to just be on that show to make a tit out of himself and don't get me started on the amount of money he's making from it.
although i have enjoyed parky's show for the last how many years, isn't it time for someone new to ask celebrities the sorts of questions people in the past have just pussy-footed around. the yanks seem to be a lot better in terms fo leno and letterman etc but when we try and adapt their stlyes we get piss-poor equivalents like sharon osborne and ruby wax. i suppose another 'tfi friday' would do me just fine.
