40,000 Bristol fans and 22,000 Shrews fans apparently. Should be good.

Give or take a few neutrals, FA schmoozers etc, there must be approaching sixty five or seventy thousand there.

I know the new Wembley is a factor and Bristol's a big place (still surprised to see they sold as many as City did three years ago), but it's heartening to see lower league football can attract such decent crowds.

Nothing against Rovers, but damn! Looking like two trips to Swindon next season

3-1, game all but over.

What a season this is turning out to be for those of a carrot-crunching, cousin-munching persuasion.

Plymouth, Bristol City, Bristol Rovers, Bath City, Swindon, Truro...anyone want to bet against Yeovil now?

Oh well, either way, I think I'm quite pleased. I do like Shrewsbury, but Rovers have always seemed something of the underdog within Bristol, they might have shifted 40,000 tickets for this game but they'll always seem like the poor relations of City.

Would be interesting to see what would happen if they were both playing in decent stadiums at say Championship level, & what their comparative crowds would be like.
