When there is a game on (especially a sell out) it would generally be regarded as 'good business sense' to put more than two members of staff behind the bar. When one of those two staff members has to stop serving the mile long queue in order to go and collect glasses...

Here's a quick note for Bristol City FC. On a warm day in April (sun shining etc) it might be a good idea to stock up on cold drinks. You know, Coke, Fanta, Ribena, Water, that sort of thing. Being told at 3:35 that "there are no cold drinks left" doesn't really indicate that you are a well run professional outfit.

Which pub was the Lammy?

We went to pub called the cottage. getting served wasn't a problem.

The worst trouble I've encountered in being being served, was in Walsall last year. Only two people serving. We never did get served.

After being turned away from The Robins the four of us walked up the hill and went in The Polugh. Bit nervous at first as the place was decked from top to bottom in Bristol memorabilia and we were the only Albion fans but the locals were friendly enough and we had no problems getting served at all.

Agree about inside the ground though. No bottled water at half time and had to drink that Coca-Cola syrup and fizzy water shite.

You should've come to the Tobacco factory on north street - really near the ground and easy service.
Inside the ground was terrible - no cool drinks, no hotdogs and no burgers!!! Surely they knew we were coming.
