Is this perchance another PPF parody account?

I think we should be told :D

No chance. The spelling is ok and it's full of right wing tropes to give it a thin veneer of respectability if you only glance at it.

If he was banned for spouting crap, why is a parody account given a free pass to post the same nonsense?

I'd rather all posts of this type were vetted. Better moderation needed.

It's a parody account

I take it you've not come across the magazine Private Eye? ???

The 17 year old activist is a know nothing avatar for environmental extremists. If you take a public platform you can expect to be criticised and ridiculed.
This is a defacto Doomsday cult which hasn't gone full Jamestown yet.

This is being pushed by the International left to try to gain traction like farage did over brexit(The archimedean lever). The diference is, and why it wont work are...Lack of support unlike brexit. The scare mongering is not based in science and the solutions offered are just crazy. The Doom Goblin as I have seen her refered to on several occaisions is being set up to fail.

The dupicity of these activists claiming that turning in their Iphones in will make no difference while ignoring the fact that we have done all we can and it wont matter unless China and India change is gobsmacking hypocracy.

Utter rubbish.

Is nobody going to give you a 'thumbs up' for that? ???

You seem to have managed to whoosh even NSC's gammon

The dupicity of these activists claiming that turning in their Iphones in will make no difference needs a comma while ignoring the fact that we have done all we can and it wont matter unless China and India change is gobsmacking hypocracy.

On reflection, though, the use of copied and pasted Alt Right favourites, resort to trolling (brexit (sic) is popular), insulting a teenage girl and pseudo-intellectualism are all strangely familiar. Although it does look like someone's brand new Grammerly keyboard is malfunctioning, so I've had to highlight some corrections.

But private eye is funny.

What is purported as parody on here is just the same as that which it's failing to humorously imitate.

Yeah I'm not defending these fellas but if papers are to write about every grumpy idiot on the Internet or about what I say to my friends while drinking beer in my couch, there wouldnt be much room for anything else,

Personally I think the medias role should be to investigate the powers ****ing you over rather than chasing powerless idiots.

A little surprised at you here.

I mean, you are definitely one of the less predictable posters on here...but still I'd have thought you'd make the link between the powers ****ing you over and the use of internet hate mobs against those that look like they may be threatening the interests of those powers.

It ony takes a relatively small investment to get a bit of on-line momentum up, and then you can rely on the kind of brain-dead idiots pictured in this article to follow what they perceive to be the herd and do the rest for you. It's a useful, and highly effective tool - and has been utlized extensively here in the UK lately. Maybe less in Sweden?

So for me, what the paper has done is exactly what you say it should be doing.

The growth and increasing influence of trusted local media, such as this or the Yorkshire Post (which asked for feedback from readers, got told their website was horrible and did this ) are one of the ways that I hope the pervasive influence of the billionare owned press can be undermined.

Your link to the Yorkshire Post didn't lead directly to the article so I've taken the liberty of post it again.

It's interesting that David Attenborough has very similar views but doesn't get any stick for it. Ok he isn't touring the world or going to conferences, but neither are his views being criticised. In fact, everyone lauded his Blue Planet series.

That’s because female hating, gammon faced, climate change deniers are idiots.

Playing Devils advocate here so please indulge me. What makes Greta qualified to lecture us all? Is she an expert in climate change? Has she years of study behind her? Ffs she doesn't even go to school.

Why does that justify grown men threatening to beat or rape her?

Her consistent message (if you actually listen to her) - has always been 'listen to the scientists'

So if she is 'lecturing' on anything it is on belief in science, listening to experts and acting like grown ups rather sticking our collective fingers in our ears.
