According to the press Peacock is off to Sheffield Wednesday. I think he looked quite good and would have been worth having a look at.

Still, I am convinced Mark McGhee will keep us up even if we sign no new players.

Over-optimistic IMHO... we must strengthen, especially in midfield... let's learn the lesson of our last foray into div one / The Championship...

Charlie, for instance, is not a Championship player...

Charlie plays ok when he has a simple job to do and does not have to worry about attacking. For instance he is excellent at man to man marking and there are going to be some players in this league who will require that. Charlie is also excellent for moral and has more then a part to play next season.

Charlie should be a squad player... no more... if he is consistently picked for the 1st team. then that indicates we have too weak a midfield to cope with the opposition in The Championship...

charlie has a part to play next season but not as a regular

he did a great job on merson at the withdean last time round and is a big part of the togeatherness and the team spirit we are forever hearing about

I agree entirely with these sentiments and whilst Charlie is Brighton through and through I would be very surprised if he got much of a look in next season.

We created very little in the latter half of the season, so a player or two with mental agility aswel as physical ability wouldn't go amiss.
