At least they called it off 7 odd hours before the game kicks off, unlike at Reading on Saturday when all of the Burnley fans were in the f***ing ground!!

Why was it a disgrace? The pitch was absolutely fine at 1.15pm. There was a sustained torrential downpour and for some reason it was gathering on the pitch, possibly because it regularly gets churned up by rugby and doesn't drain so well.
There was no way the game could have gone ahead, and no way it could have been called off earlier. Just one of those things.

We've been 250 miles to Halifax before now for the game to be called off at 7pm and Norwich a few years ago when they waited 45 mins before cancelling the game at 3.45pm due to floodlight failure.
