Not sure how he played today but he's been playing bloody well recently. Sounds like the whole team were crap today...

Today's result was not Roberts' fault - the defence and midfield were AWOL and the strikers were inept!

Roberts has been excellent recently and fully deserves to be between the sticks

Not always. There are some shots that no keeper would stop.

See El Presidente's player ratings:

no but when the goals go in, you have to look at the keeper surely ?:glare:

That hardly follows ...

Roberts has been absolutely first class recently, but for some people, it's who he is, not how well he plays, that matters

I've always said that I think FDM is the better keeper, but that is far from saying Roberts isn't up to it - of course he is. I wouldn't drop him now, to blame him for our away form would be completely unfair, the whole team is shite.

We just play a completely different system than the one we know works at home. And I don't know why - only McGhee does, I suppose.

I only saw the goals on Sky last night. None of them seemed to be Ben Roberts's fault, but the defence seemed to be standing around. For at least two of them, where was Virgo? And Iwelumo? If McGhee has said he has to prove himself, he didn't help himself if the commentary was anything to go by. FDM - I am a great fan of his, but the last time I saw him play, Brentford, it didn't help us, and I thought he was to blame for their third goal.

you don't know much about football do you?
I bet you weren't slagging him off when he saved a penalty in the last game?
I also prefer Kuipers but you have to admit Roberts has been top class lately.
