What's that nonsense whereby every time the keeper passes out to the blonde right back, she passes it ever more poorly straight back to the keeper? Happens about three times in a row - under zero Arsenal pressure - til the keeper finally despairs and passes it elsewhere.

2-0 at halftime to Arsenal. We have had a few chances but Arsenal punishing any lapse in concentration. Walsh (Goalkeeper) and Kerkdijk (defender) helping to keep us in the game. If we can get them the opportunity think O'Sullivan, Jarrett or Green could get us back into this

Would like to think so. Tho realistically it's got four or more written all over it

I keep trying to be optimistic but I think it will be a good result if we don't let in any more. Arsenal just too good

Brighton
Reminds me of the Men’s team going up to Manchester and losing to city, while playing quite well. Hopefully they will improve this year after learning from that experience. Lots of energy and commitment and not a lot to show for it today.

Scoreline harsh but Arsenals class told. We never really gave up trying so some positives to take. Next up Everton on Sunday

Everton another free hit game, will be very tough. November are they next key games, Aston Villa and West Ham.

Yep Villa and West Ham will be a good indicator of how the team is going to do this season - though does depend what happens with the Covid cases Villa have had and when they play their games.

The players coming in have definitely improved the side, and Kerkdijk at the back looks good.

However, the gulf between us and the top 3 is clear. As previously stated, how we fare against the mid-table sides will determine our position this year.
