Brightons next match in the Womens Super League is against Arsenal on Sunday 12th January starting at 12.30pm at Crawley. This will be a tough test for the Albion as Arsenal are the current league leaders, although we can take some confidence from having beaten them on penalties in the Continental Tyres cup earlier this season. This match will also be shown live via the BBC Red Button.

Tickets are available from the Ticket Office for:
Advance Prices:
Adult: £4, Seniors (65+): £2, Under 18: £2

Matchday Prices:
Adult: £6, Seniors (65+): £3, Under 18: £3

Free travel from various places across Sussex can be booked as usual via Seagulls Travel

Am expecting that there will be quite a few Arsenal fans there so should be a good atmosphere!

If you can't make it but would still like to watch, this is the (current) link for the BBC coverage : https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000dgv0

No one could answer my question before but does signing the Norwegian keeper - Fiskerstrand, put Megan's place in imminent danger. I always thought Walsh was a good keeper, but Cecile may be an upgrade.

It does put her position as automatic starter under threat (once international clearance has arrived), but they have also given her a new contract today so they still believe in her. Maya Le Tissier signed her first professional contract too :)

Ha yes just saw this, so we have strong competition between the sticks.

Great news for Maya lets hope she can now press on and become as good as the other midfield Le Tissier from Guernsey who played along the coast.

Bumping this thread in case anyone fancies coming to Crawley today to support the women against Arsenal, or if you can't come but want to watch the match is on BBC Red Button.

Up the Albion!

Latest odds from bet365
Albion win 12/1
Draw 15/2
Arsenal 1/9

Some fancy odds available if you think Arsenal will run up a cricket score, which, has to be said, seems more likely than not. These include:
6-0 18/1
6-1 50/1
7-0 33/1
7-1 80/1
8-0 50/1

If you fancy the Albion to nick a 1-0 win, you can get 33/1. Tho 333/1 might seem a fairer price :moo:

Anyways, that's the lunchtime entertainment sorted

Bored of the Taffs kicking each other, will give this a go.

Freeview doesn't do HD on RB1 though

Pitch looks like a ploughed field, must be worse in HD.

Women just like the men. Get in a forward position, three passes later we are manically attempting to clear the ball near our corner flag without Arsenal touching the ball
