Just imagine Sky's disappointment when they find out Vicente won't be playing.

At the beginning of November he'll be hardly remembered as playing in the blue and white stripes. Sky must be crossing their fingers this game will be as exciting as last seasons. My prediction 0-0.

Brilliant news in my opinion. Not being a season ticket holder it means it is an extra game I can see without having to pay to see. Also, if I do decide to get a ticket for that game, I love evening games. The thought of going to the football really gets you through a day.

I remember playing Cheltenham at Withdean on a Saturday night at 7.45 which is worse.

I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but was this fixture a unique event, regarding domestic, league football? Can't think of another match in living memory that kicked off at 7.45pm. on a Saturday night?

I'm sure we never played Cheltenham at home on a Saturday night at 7.45 @ Withers, or any other match at that time & day.

I think we did you know.

I spent the afternoon getting battered in Brighton. I can't remember the opponents (unsurprisingly), but I do seem to remember a Saturday night Withdean jobbie.

Not sure about the oppo, but am sure we did play a game on a Sat. night at 7.45pm., and thinking at the time it was odd. Like any other workers, I'm sure footy players want to be out on the lash on Saturday nights, like most youngish males ???

We played Plymouth at home on a saturday night on Sky (2003/4) but think kick off was earlier - 5:15? Something like that

Because some people find it very difficult to make evening fixtures and its getting to the point now where half of our home fixtures take place in the evening.

I expect the people that are happy about this work and live in Brighton 9-5.

still they have given 4 months notice so that people can work around it.............

how about changing jobs to get more flexibility for albion games, or move house closer to the stadium, or let your ticket go to someone who can go

back in the day when i used to play saturady footy, evening used to be most of the ones i attended - used to love them and still do

didn't the albion used to KO at 7.45 instead of the old standard 7.30 to help the old commuter types ?

(i work in essex everyday, but mangage to work around the fixtures, there are only 22-26 games at home if 50% are evening games then that is around 10, ave 1.5 a month - if your boss is not flexible enough for you to get there - look for a new boss)
