Watching this high pressing football is really quite impressive at U21 level.

I think they are better than the majority of Albion 1st teams I've watched over the last 50 odd years

What do you think of Moran? He did some nice footwork in the box, weaving his way through the Arsenal defenders before our goal.

He looks really good, as do a few, but the bar they have to reach has been raised significantly in the last couple of seasons.

The Football Combination was never like this.

He's the standout one for me, but this is the first time I've really watched him. You're dead right - the standard is much higher these days, as you would expect.

By the way, from the low camera angle, you can't really tell how the lads on the far side are doing. It's a shame.

Edit: It was Moran who laid it on a plate for Hinshelwood, who managed to place it the wrong side of the post in front of an open goal.

Ref is a bit gestapo with his officiating. Bookings for stuff which wasn't even fouls! Or.....
Ref not letting any contact go, backed up with some vigorous flag waving by both assistants Or....
Who's the wanker in the black(and red)

The standard is exceptional with some fabulous interplay and passing from both sides - but is there any place (left) in modern football for an out-and-out selfish goalscorer? Someone who just swivels and shoots irrespective of the progression of the build up? Sure we all know the answer.

Didn't see him tonight, but always very impressive when seen in the past.
Ditto with Spong who seemed to do well the other night according to the highlights

I'm going along to this one tonight. It will be interesting to see how many from Tuesday's game at Forest Green will be involved and who will be kept back for the first team squad.
It would be nice to see Enciso, Ferguson, Turns, Offiah and Moran, but I would imagine the first two of them could be in the squad for the Leeds game.

Are these matches open to STH?
