Cannot wait. It's about time the actions of some key 'actors' and thousands of ordinary, passionate, creative and, when necessary, direct-actioned supporters saved Brighton and Hove Albion. From the bottom two to top-10 (hopefully) in 25 years. Utterly deserves some proper cinematic treatment.

The film looks great. Can't wait.

I have a small complaint that the music on the trailer is one of those awful Winehouse influenced X Factor type cover versions that my daughter refers to as 'singing in italics'. There was nothing wrong with the original's sample of Camille Yarbrough's heartfelt vocal and the piano chords at the beginning of Norman's record make my spine tingle every time I hear them because of their association with so many great home wins at the Amex.

Its released in September (see : https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...tory-rise-near-extinction-Premier-League.html )
I guess there will be a limited theatrical release (so presumably lots of showings in Brighton cinemas) and then to (one of the ) streaming services. Maybe Sky or BT will pick it up.

UPDATE: Looking at other threads. Sounds like Sky have picked it up and it will be - part of Sky/Now TV Documentaries in September.

Finally something worth watching after the Sunderland mind fvck docu.
A cheery reminder of where WE started and where WE are now.
Will it be PPLE ???

"Singing in italics" is the perfect way to describe that type of thing. Genius.

Stuff like this is going to get me in the feels knowing my dad and I experienced almost all of these ups and downs together in sync. Me as a hormonal curtain bedecked youth and him as a midlife crisis wielding adult yet it was the struggles that united us.

Knowing he won’t get to see what is by all accounts and precedents going to be an excellent sympathetic and detailed airing of our collective grief and anguish is going to sting. But boy will it be a cracker and one I can’t wait for.

Bit harsh.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Maybe unintentional/coincidental, but it does kinda leap out….

I got an email a while back about being interviewed for an Albion doc, I presume it was this one, but I declined.

Looks fantastic though, looking forward to seeing it.
