Lloyd Owusu and Matt Heath are good signings on loan.
Owusu should cause defenders problems and he knows Fozzy from his Reading days and Booker from Brentford, silly things like this can help a new man settle in, if Pardew or Slade become the boss they both know him well too, maybe a tip-off in advance ??.
Matt Heath is familiar with McLeod and Virgo from Colchester and played with Whing, Birchall and Hawkins at Coventry and Carole at Leeds.
One more defender or a Goalie on loan and the side looks ok -
