Word of warning; childrens parade etc on Saturday, North Street shut 10.30 - 13.00, utter chaos elsewhere with buses I expect. Best avoid city centre.

shit the festival starts Saturday doesnt it? might put the trip to town off for a few days

I'm not going to take my chances with the buses lottery, I shall be walking to the Withdean. When you consider how many people are going to be using the buses aswell, I think it's fairly sound advice to walk/train if you can.
