Agree with this. Psychologically it sends out the message we are their inferiors and in awe of them. Not good.

Re the photo of Salah signing the shirt - context is everything I guess. Maybe the shirt was for a charity auction? Who knows? They also didn't know the photo was being taken, which is a bit different to posing with an opposition players shirt and posting it on social media. If, however, it was personal trophy hunting then perhaps the players need reminding of the message this type of fawning sends to supporters and perhaps on how it may affect their performance on the pitch
