...politically at any rate. Brighton & Hove City Council has 12 seats, beating Norwich City Council with 10 seats.

So there.

So let's see some f***ing turbines out to sea, let's see some lorries banned from the city centre. etc.

If Falmer is chucked out, the Greens have made positive noises about developing Withdean as a sustainable stadium.

It's the Tories you want to worry about if Falmer goes tits up. Those bastards in Withdean would chuck us out on our ears if they thought they could get away with it. There certainly won't be any roofs or extra stands if the blue buggers are in charge.

People have very short memories, the Tories under Thatcher considered football the preserve of low life scum, they thought that by enforcing membership schemes on clubs it would force them out of business. Clearly this didn't happen, but I am still not convinced that their views have changed in the intervening years, I am also of the opinion that our best chances of getting a football stadium are under a Labour government.

Same here!

It was with a heavy heart and almost impossible to put the crosses in the Labour boxes.

I was being cautious as none of the other Councillors have really displayed their hand. The Conservative chap at the rally held up a banner '...Supports a Brighton Stadium' or words to those effects. Where? Falmer? Withdean? Beeding?!

okay. I'll say this slowly. THATCHER RESIGNED NEARLY 20 YEARS AGO.

You lot are unfuckingbelievable with your anti-Tory shite.

When I was growing up in Wales, my best friend's father lost his job in the pit due to Thatcher's policies. He ended up killing himself as a direct result. Try telling my friend that he is "unfuckingbelievable" with his "anti-Tory shite".
