Gary Farr and The T-Bones (60's band) lived in the area. Gary who? Not that famous in the UK but were big in the USA for a while. Gary worked for PD Wharfage, Shoreham Harbour whilst waiting for his big break.

Steve Ellis (Love Affair) also worked for PD Wharfage after fame left him.
