I think Dunk is a much bigger loss than on paper (which is still big)
Moder could have brought significantly more presence in midfield and a better range of passing - he's never first on the team sheet but christ he couldn't have made more or a horlicks than Whiffy Matt

You bloody love to be controversial don’t you?

Lamptey and Weiffer were instrumental in Evan’s goal. Without that we might have lost!

Give FH a break and time to settle into the PL. 6th is a million miles from where we have been and it’s clear the players are behind him imo.

I watched a different game to you as it’s laughable, imo, to suggest that Wolves yesterday were one of the worst teams at the Amex since we got promoted to the PL. They had an excellent chance to take the lead too. Never gave up or panicked. Yes the first half shitehousery was annoying but not unusual from lower league teams at the Amex.

You are going all entitled Harty

We ALL thought the game was won at 2-0 and I don’t see how a player making a dreadful pass outside the opposition penalty area was the only reason we conceded a second goal. Blaming one player is naive and it has turned into a witch hunt which you are feeding with that article.

What a rubbish article.
Our second goal came after the substitution, the assist from Lamptey.
Now the author could have stuck to the seemingly simpler question "was taking off baleba a mistake?" . To which the answer is clearly yes if you treat the match in isolation, no if you look at the season as a whole and don't want to burn him out.

Though cock would also have served as a decent response.

Agree with everything and we celebrated wildly at Evan’s goal.

Other than I didn’t think the game was won. A bit too early.

They’d carried various threats throughout the second half, Dawson caused mayhem in their many set pieces, he’s made a career of it. It was vital to not let them get their opener.

The crowd was as cocky and thought the game was over as much as the players. Fans also have their part to play. Maybe this is a lesson to us as well: it's not over until it's over - don't get cocky.
I get what you are saying but taking a 2nil lead on the 85th min you can't blame the crowd for getting excited. For me, in that moment, it was more relief getting the second goal as I thought that surely sealed the win and it should have done!
The players are the ones who need to keep there's heads in the game for 95mins.

Nothing is ever certain in professional sports, especially in the EPL.

Wow! Where did that come from !?

The Mods deleted my thread because it was started in error FFS - that was the edit - to say it had been started in error - I’ve now explained that multiple times - that can happen on NSC

I don’t edit my posts to make it looked as if I am being “picked on” - are we in kindergarten? 🙄

I edit them to try and shorten them because I am constantly trolled on this forum because my posts are too long - also to correct grammatical errors and typos.

As I said - I didn’t see your post until it appeared on THIS thread so had no fcuking idea the post was even directed at me - The rest of your long and unjustified rant TLDR

- suggest you put my posts on ignore because you are derailing the thread with this shit!

EDIT ps Tedebear falsely accused me of stalking her around the forum and trolling her simply because I used a raised eyebrow to one of her posts - I now have her on ignore again and much happier for it.

PPS - you completely misunderstoodd my post - me stating ‘what are you missing’ was a rhetorical and ironic comment on the fact that whatever you were missing ( because I didn’t know your post was originally referring to the deleted thread) was nothing compared to me missing the last few minutes of a match and 2 goals. It was a self-deprecating comment.

I wasnt actually asking you what you were missing.
No it's fine I don't feel the need to put anyone on ignore & on NSC, most threads can be derailed.

I've watched you on numerous occasions, to numerous posters say something rude and/or patronising and if they react, you go back & edit your post to make it look like you're being trolled. The thing is, they don't realise you've edited your post, they respond to call you out, you're rude & patronising again & then you edit that one as well.
I know exactly what thread you're attempting to say you were being trolled on as I nearly said then, you were being out of order. But as always, when you're being rude to people, you edit your post after they've reacted, so me saying something would have looked really odd.

You've just made a big deal there of saying you've put a longstanding poster on ignore (again???), I've never seen that poster post anything offensive to anyone, ever. I've had no interactions with them at all as far as I can remember, so it's not a case of sticking up for a 'mate'. I was also surprised at what the mod said but I suspect that you've done what you've done since the day you joined & sent PM's to posters claiming that you're being hard done by. It's probably the same mod you said was bullying you when you joined & I said it's <insert name> & they can be a little bit brash sometimes.

As I, and others have said since you joined , you have to have a thick skin to post here. If you're going to be rude & patronising to others, expect it back. Don't wimp out, & edit your posts. I apologised to the person I laid into, 'live' on the board. I didn't go skulking around sending PM's to other posters asking for back up & trying to get sympathy.

I assume your response of TL;DR to me yesterday & the poster the other day was irony on your behalf? You see it as trolling when people say it to you, but it's fine for you to say it to others when they disagree with what you say?
Bit of further irony about you editing posts.... I got a notification at 8.46pm yesterday that you had quoted my post, your last edit was 45 mins later. That's 45 minutes of you editing stuff out.

This is not me being rude to you, this is laying out things as I see it, it doesn't mean the way I'm seeing it, is correct. As far as I'm concerned I've said what I want to say on this thread. I generally enjoy reading your posts, as someone who isn't able to be concise in my responses I can empathise when someone puts TL;DR as a reply but I don't think I'm being trolled by someone saying it, as you do. What some people may consider to be me waffling is actually 'weaving word salads' & I'm the greatest & bestest 'word salad weaver' in the whole of world history. If I become president of the USA I'm going to put 'Word Salad Weaving' on the school curriculum. 🙂

Another TLDR - not ironic - nothing wrong with a TLDR if it was too long.

The “trolling” I was referring to, is all the trope comments about me writing long posts when I haven’t written a long post or even posted on the thread in question.

You are being ridiculous and putting far too much energy into this for some weird reason.

That’s two long essay length rants of you laying into me now for no reason other than a mod deleted a thread I had started in error because I was so convinced we had won to Wolves I thought there was a glitch in the Premier League Table results online - of course I edited my post and corrected myself when I realised it was actually correct!! Anyone would have done.

As for your post on this thread and then complaining about me asking you what you were missing, I have repeatedly explained that - I hadn’t seen the original and nor realised it even had anything to do with my original thread - The mods moved it over when they deleted my thread - it is that which has caused the confusion.

Again you misunderstood my original post to you above - I was asking you what you were missing as a rhetorical self-deprecating question because I had missed the last few minutes of the match and two goals! I didn’t even know your post had been on the other thread originally.

FYI - I have NEVER sent PMs to other members of this forum trying to court “sympathy” against other members - It doesn’t even occur to me to do so. I send PMs occasionally to posters directly to apologise or clarify points but never to rally support against other posters or Mods. I have one person on NSC that I share personal things with and that’s it.

I put people on ignore for different reasons - they don’t have to be rude or be trolling me - your interaction with me over the past few posts is one of them.

It is time to draw a line under this and move on.

Apologies if this piece of David Squires genius has already been posted.

Gotta love a Norman Cook / Steve Foster pairing.
:ROFLMAO: Always funny.

Presumably: Gully, Fozzie, Fatboy, Eubank, Cate Blanchett in her LotR get up, Zoe Ball in the '2' headphones*, Nick Cave** behind her?

* Can't be Annie Nightingale, no leopardprint.

** After that, I don't believe in an interventionist god either Nick.
