Going tonight as if things get any worse then there's always the risk it could be the last game with fans for a while.
Not expecting a good game at all, but without knowing who is missing it's really hard to call.

If it’s on I will be there , but I am surprised that there doesn’t seem to have been any request from the Albion to get it called off.

Have to admit that my hopes are more along the line with "hopefully it will be more interesting than painful" rather than "hopefully it will be three points and a bunch of goals for Brighton". Chances of a win are probably quite slim (as usual, but extra much this time). But I really look forward to the game and hopefully seeing some fresh faces. One point would make me very happy, three would take me over the moon.

Do the Albion want is called off though? I have heard zero calls from them

Not going myself as I am desperate to minimise the chances of getting Covid mainly because I want Xmas with my family this year. I was about to sign up for BT Sport for a month but hesitated in case tonight is called off and I doubt that the United game (also on BT Sport) will be going ahead. I’ll leave it until near to kick off

Appears not, no. Unless something unexpected happens (which wouldnt be... unexpected) the game will be on.

Think the club wants to play now. If this was postponed and also the United game, there would be a fixture crowding somewhere else down the line. IIRC every team in the PL are guaranteed by the rules implemented a few seasons ago to have a 13+ days winter break meaning that probably none of the postponed games could be arranged between January 23 and February 7.

Despite the troubles, Potter could probably field a stronger team today than he could in the mid-game of a three game-week.

Mr positivity here.

We will lose or draw and we will be told that although we missed 12 open goals, our passing along the back line was “ fantastic” and we are just happy to be in the premier league.

Oh and we have found three more centre backs and two defensive midfielders who are our targets in January window.

And GP is always very clear that "situations" , even those that are extreme, are just something else that the team need to deal with.. doubt he would even have entertained the notion of postponement.
