Spurs got used to our goal-kicks being lumped up field, so they all dropped back. At that point I don't know why Dunk didn't just run towards Steele for an easy pass, and if there wasn't another easy pass on, then lump it up field. It would be nice to be able to mix it up.

Yep, just need some better decision making at times,but still great overall.

The press go on about how Brighton find unknown youngsters and sell them for millions but hardly anyone mentions our older players. I am sure Roberto would play Dunk, Gross, Wellbeck, Lallana and Milner every match if he could. They are so important to the development of this club but lets keep it to ourselves!

Do you know what? Suddenly I don't give a shite about clean sheets any more. It's that long since we had one I am past caring!

Our game plan is not based on clean sheets. They are only a problem when we don't score enough. We look much better with Welbeck back in the team. Joao Pedro looked brilliant on the left.

For much of the game, this felt like one game too many for Spurs' threadbare squad.

It was very grating to hear Martin Tyler bang on about this on the tv, and not a mention of our numerous absentees. Not one. Only that Pervis and Jakub were back. It's almost as if an analogy between King Canute holding back the tides, and older should-know-better commentators wilfully ignoring what all footballing folk know, is screaming out to be made.

They are also, if the same is to be repeated, on course to concede more than they have done in a season since 2008/09

Fantastic first half - and most of second giving 5th place Spurs a football lesson. Hinsh and Facu stand outs for me but every player probably played one of the best matches of the season so far - Last 20 mins or so we lost the plot in MF rather but real fatigue and cramp setting in so understandable - Pedro MOTM for me overall but I thought Buonanotte came close in first half. What can you say about Pervis? What a comeback and how great for the post-serious injury confidence to score too. Great atmosphere well worth the nightmare journey down.
