Lallana moved back to his original club, next to where he lives so he could see his kids a bit more after 4 years with the Albion where - injuries aside - he was still an decent player and made nearly 100 appearances.
He did fine for us - especially behind the scenes. Not sure why anyone has any issues with his leaving or why. He's a good bloke in my eyes.

Anyway he's not playing. Injured !
Exactly this. Lallana cared about this club and helped raise the standards on the training ground. His family are nearer Southampton and his son plays for their Academy I believe. Was probably always going to end his days there.

This is how to find post-Brighton love in Brighton
- get sacked
- be a little bit shit and get sold for good money
- move to Liverpool instead of another top team

Lallana may not have moved to a better club, but he was an supposedly important character that left on a free transfer for another PL club. This puts him in the "bad human being" category alongside White, Cucurella, Bissouma, Caicedo, Trossard etc.
Yes, it's very prevalent among BHAFC to hate personnel that leave the club. I, on the other hand, recognise that churn is built into the model and am usually grateful for the contributions while at the club of the likes of those that have listed AND the fact that they've made us tens of millions of pahnds through their leaving. So, I don't tend to boo them on here, but it's worth a bit of pantomine in the stadium.
I'm sure you'd have been LOVING IT for the 4-1 spanking we gave Chelsea and the rancorous atmosphere at The Amex if you'd been there.

I'm really looking forward to this one. The prospect of going second is really a special one and how can you not get excited by that.

Obvious the caveat is we have blown this opportunities before, but I get the feeling there is a different mindset with this squad and Fab is pushing this team week in week out, learning lessons and gaining confidence with each game.

I do expect Southampton to cause us trouble, they gave Liverpool a good game so they can clearly play. The Saints do however have a habit of making mistakes at the back, and even if they do score I think we can outscore them.

Sorry to bring up bad memories but where were Everton in table when beat us 5-1
Our starting eleven that day against Everton in May 2023 were
Steele
Pascal, Webster, Dunk, Estupinian
Caicedo, Mac Allister
Buananotte, Undav, Mitoma
Welbeck
Used subs were Colwill, March, Enciso, Gilmour, Ferguson
Unused subs were Ayari, van Hecke, Moran

Make what you will of the comparison to today‘s squad, both starting and on the bench

Looks quite a decent team until you realise what massive upgrades JP, Rutter and Bart are.

On Lallana being a snake; total nonsense. As I remember it there was talk that he'd fallen out with Roberto. So, I can only assume the OP was either trolling, is a RDZ mega fan, or is actually RDZ.

I fully expect to see Lallana coaching in the near future. He seems like a real leader.
