What a week - Trump el Presidento and Brighton beating Man City! A fantastic second half and a well deserved Victory (if you discount the first 35 mins). Plus a biased ref! Great performance. We beat Man City 4 1 in 1979 at the Goldstone. Tony's dad was a director of Brighton at the time.

First 35 mins, not good, not bad. We certainly upped it after that!! Young Jack looked devastated that he had to go off & I felt really bad for him. Scared the cat with the 1st goal but he should know better than to sit on me whilst watching the game. Scared the dog with the 2nd goal!!! I'm off to a birthday party now, guest of honour will probably be 'very' late as he's at the match!
I'm watching on Sky & can't decide whether Pep was telling off JVPH or tapping him up! It's almost a shame that there won't be any Man City fans at the party (they're not plastic to be fair).
Welcome back Pedro & welcome to the PL O'Riley!! Amazing all the lads, well done. Yeah you're alright as well Fab! :lolol:
So far (whilst waiting for the cab) no one has said City are having a bad day! It's just Brighton have been good!! Love it, UTA!!!
I may have had a couple of beers already, if I come back later & say anything that's annoying.... ignore it!!! 😁
Edit... the ref was a bit of a knob!
2nd edit... Cab still isn't here but Fab speaks really fast in English! :lolol:

We were nothing short of brilliant, seizing control after the break and showing City just how dangerous we can be. Pedro's goal was deserved for our relentless pressure imo. Other than the first half hour, it felt like we were always the better side, pushing City at every turn and continuously prodding their high line to find a weakness. I felt the ref gave them everything as well.

Mitoma tormented Walker, and when O'Riley burst through it was pure vindication. Joy. Utter joy. City completely rattled.

Fab nailed the subs, changed shape when we needed to and managed the game out perfectly.

Fearless, dominant, full of heart. Get in there Brighton. What a night.
