We all knew 99% we would lose this but I'm confused at the gameplan. We're not pressing but we are running up to them and then stopping/not challenging. When we're being pressed we're trying to pass it around them instead of clearing it to Pedro/Welbeck if needed. It's just a bit strange?

Mistake by Barco really - a little panicky and losing possession in a really dangerous area - he’s is fighting hard though. Bit of a Baptism of Fire to start against Man City - love his confidence.
Agree. As opposed to the rest of them. Everyone absolutely awful bar JPVH and Welbeck.

Gross looks absolutely knackered.

And Veltman has been so clumsy of late.

The thing is we have so many talented players, all the ingredients are there for a great team... two years from now. Need some experience in, in the summer. Some 27-30 year olds who can cope with pressure.

Another difficult watch
Actually - now there's no tension, or fear of letting a lead (or even a point) slip or anything like that - I guess we can just sit back and watch City's football.

Because if we actually get anywhere near them, they'll get a free kick.

There was no way we were getting out they had every angle covered just kick the f***ing thing
Steele wasn’t the one who lost the ball, if there is a fault then it’s the players who should have given Barco a passing option.

Yes Steele could have done things differently, and yeah maybe could have punted it upfield. It doesn’t make everything his fault thought.

We have been inviting pressure by slow play from the back. Potter did at least change things around rather than repeat the same errors over and over.
