It's a bit sad to not go full strength tonight. I don't care what Liverpool do but we have a decent squad that players can surely play 2 games in a week, on occasions. Lamptey's and Moder's contracts end after this season. Can't see them being renewed. Both players have been unlucky with injuries over the last 3 years.

Agree that Tariq has probably gone as far as he can, but I think Enciso has more to offer. Shame, I'd love the star man to be as good as we all think he can be.

That’s about the first time I’ve made any sort of criticism of Steele on this site. It’s not something I do an it certainly isn’t part of a witch hunt. I also acknowledged that the defence left him in a bad position.

But…

Bullet shot or not, you don’t give the attacker space at the bear post to place it. You just don’t. That was among the first things I was told as a keeper for Bridge View U10s.

Mind you, we were also told not to pass across your own box and everybody does that now.
