It’s funny, as this afternoon I commented Leicester were missing Schmeichel, and this evening, I’m watching Schmeichel in goal for Nice. I’m in a campsite bar, just glanced up at the large tv, just as he was taking a goal kick.
He has a clean sheet so far.

Campsite bar with a beer watching the footy. 👍 Enjoy.

Watching MOTD 2 and I can’t help feeling that Troy Deeney is not much of an Albion fan

I am actually struggling to believe that I am a fan of a club who just seem to be getting better and better at the top table of English football

No he's not, Troll Deeney has never had a good word to say about the Albion.

Am I right in thinking that yesterday was the first time that we have beaten a team who were bottom of the table on the day we played them since we got promoted?

Yes I think so. On a slightly different tack I am struggling to think of any Premier League sides we have not beaten over the past 5 years.....

I know it’s not the done thing to lift things from the papers but hopefully it’s acceptable to quote a single sentence. This little gem featured in the Guardian website’s “as it happened” feed…

“…the real story here is Brighton, who today went from being quietly very good to being loudly very good”

:)

There was quite a good reader's comment as well talking about how ruthless we're becoming: "We're the Seagulls. GIVE US YOUR CHIPS!"
